During primary 5, we have learned about the Titanic.  We made cabins from cardboard boxes, old jewellery and tissue paper.  We wrote fact files about the Titanic, the passengers on board, the food and icebergs.  We also made posters.

Currently, for literacy we are reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.  We have done more fact files and we are looking forward to watching the movie.  My favourite part of the book is when Charlie gets to keep the factory as a gift from Willie Wonka.

Our class assembly in on Joseph and His Technicoloured Dreamcoat and we will be tie dying white t-shirts.

As part of our science topic, we have been growing sunflowers and carrots to see how these grow under different conditions e.g. soil, just water, paper towels and cotton wool.
