Olympic Visit – Sports for Schools Event
We are delighted to advise that Cornbank have registered for a Sports for Schools event which invites an Olympic athlete into school to inspire our pupils. This event will take place next Thursday, 10th November and we will be joined by Olympic swimmer Caitlin McClatchey.
We are very excited about this opportunity. The children will take part in a 10 minute fitness session alongside Caitlin and there will also be a whole school assembly after break in which she will share her Olympic journey and answer any questions our children may have.
Children are permitted to wear sports clothing to school on this date.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Cornbank Parent Partnership for funding this event.
