Welcome back to a new school term, we hope everyone had a lovely Easter holiday.

Our yearly visitors, settled in when we were away and we are anticipating the arrival of fluffy chicks soon! As always the parents are very protective, so we have to be very wary when walking through the courtyard.

Everyone had a fantastic afternoon of entertainment at our talent show. We didn’t realise, just how many talented children there are at Cornbank.

Our P5-7 Hockey Team had a great morning down at Ladywood. Well done to all the teams who took part. Thank you to Lynne and Lyndsey who have worked with the children and took them along to the event.

The whole school gathered in the playground to witness the wonder of the ‘Solar Eclipse’.  The children had been warned about the dangers of looking at the sun, so many came armed with pinhole cameras.  Unfortunately the cloudy weather spoiled it but we did get a visit from Hudson!
