P6 have been super excited about their new topic – the rainforest!!  We are all very interested in all the animals that live there.  There is a bunch of crazy and wacky animals in the rainforests.  P6 had a laugh when creating a made up animal.  We had to design an animal that has adapted to live into the rainforest. Miss Denholm called pupils up one at a time to choose an animal to work on and there was lots of quality discussion.  We also enjoyed creating a display for the classroom on all the different layers of the rainforest.  Miss Denholm has been working really hard to make this topic perfect for us and we are all so excited and interested in the topic.  We are happy about how hard we have been working but also having fun!  We are looking forward to working with our parents too as the topic progresses.
