Walk to School Week – 16th – 20th May
Week commencing 16th May is our next Walk to School Week.
On the Tuesday of that week (17th), we’re having HAPPY SHOESDAY and asking pupils to wear their favourite, brightest, happiest shoes to school. We’d like to ask you to support your child and encourage you to join in with them on this day.
We hope pupils enjoy taking part and that participation levels are good!

Active Schools Programme
Penicuik Area Clubgolf Ryder Cup Festival
Active Midlothian put on another fantastic event for P5’s from Penicuik Primary Schools at the astro turf this week. Each team did really well but the Cornbank Team-USA, won overall.
Well done P5!
Ant-Bullying Week
As part of Anti-Bullying week, we have been doing a variety of activities, to highlight the effects of bullying and the strategies we can use to help us if we get into difficulties. Today, Primary 5, watched a video and were asked what they would do if they found themselves in a bullying situation. They then drew around their hands and on each finger they had to name people in school, they could ask for help and people out of school, they could ask for help. Thankfully everyone had a name for each finger.
