Ant-Bullying Week

As part of Anti-Bullying week, we have been doing a variety of activities, to highlight the effects of bullying and the strategies we can use to help us if we get into difficulties. Today, Primary 5, watched a video and were asked what they would do if they found themselves in a bullying situation. They then drew around their hands and on each finger they had to name people in school, they could ask for help and people out of school, they could ask for help. Thankfully everyone had a name for each finger.

P5 Skiing

P5 enjoyed their first day of skiing at Midlothian Snowsports Centre.  The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the children were soon suited and booted and off to start their first lesson.  Some of our more experienced skiers went off to the higher levels and zoomed down the hill, at lightening speed.  All the children agreed that they had been a fantastic experience and are looking forward to their next visit.
